The HERMESplus telephone helpline can be contacted in order to be directed to the mental health care network and/or to make a request to the TANDEMplus mobile crisis team.
The TANDEMplus mobile crisis team intervenes by working closely with the person in crisis and their loved ones. Each request receives a response within 48 hours.
More specifically, this service is intended for people from the age of 18 who find themselves in a crisis situation and who have difficulty finding appropriate mental health care.
Anyone can call on TANDEMplus whether they are a care provider, relative or user.
Tel : 02 201 22 00 – the telephone reception is available every working day between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Outside these hours, it is in any case possible to leave a message on the answering machine or to contact us by email: firstname.lastname@example.org
The team offers home visits aimed at relieving the person who is in distress as well as building or re-establishing a care network around the person. The first meeting takes place in the presence of the applicant and the user.
The care lasts two months and aims to relieve the crisis while supporting the user towards continuity of care. It should be noted that the service is not prepared to prescribe medication but that it can accompany the user towards this type of care if such is his request. This service is free and quadrilingual (Dutch, French, English, Arabic).
