Easily accessible psychological care near the patient, individually or through group sessions – adapted to local needs.
how ?
The INAMI agreement with regard to first-line psychological care, allows to increase the population’s access to this type of care, both in terms of start-up of care and in terms of price. This care is mainly intended for children, adolescents and adults who are part of the most vulnerable groups of the population, including those who were most affected by the Covid-19 crisis.
operation
Sessions can take place individually or in groups, in a cabinet, digitally (remotely), but especially also in a place that is adapted to the situation of people who have to deal with a multitude of vulnerability factors (‘outreach’ work via sites). The first session is free for the patient, after that the patient’s contribution is €11 (or €4 for those entitled to the increased allowance) for individual sessions or €2.5 for group sessions.
Social, cultural or care organizations can enter into an agreement with the regional mental healthcare networks and – in addition to the tasks they already fulfill today – also provide psychological care as referred to in the agreement.
scope
The first-line psychologists (FLP) work throughout the Brussels region. In collaboration with the regional mental healthcare networks, HERMESplus regularly organizes local consultations with all partners involved to further roll out the RIZIV-INAMI agreement in 1000 Brussels, Molenbeek and Anderlecht.
